The Community Access Program or CAP was a provincial government funded initiative to bring high-speed internet access to rural communities in Nova Scotia. As Supervisor I oversaw a team of individuals working with local municipalities and service providers to expand connectivity in areas where no or slow connectivity existed.
The initiative was deemed a great success and set in motion a string of investments and upgrades that eventually lead all the way to FTTH (Fibre To The Home)…The Community Access Program or CAP was a provincial government funded initiative to bring high-speed internet access to rural communities in Nova Scotia.
